Ames Lake Water Association is a 501(c)12, non-profit consumer-owned, cooperative utility originally incorporated by 87 members in April 1969 to distribute drinking and domestic water to the landowners in the vicinity of Ames Lake Washington.

Today, ALWA is a Group A water system as defined by Washington Administrative Code (WAC), Chapter 246-290.  We produce around 90,000,000 gallons of water a year from groundwater production wells. The association maintains over 38 miles of pipe and six storage tanks with a combined capacity of 1,000,000 gallons.

We proudly serve over 1,200 members within our service area.
